Discography

Kabir Percussion

Kabir Percussion comes from an Amerindian word, Kabir Kouba, a waterfall that links Wendake, a native Huron reserve, and Quebec City. This is where the group was founded by Christian Pare. This image of the river that never stops flowing, as an endless flood linking two cultures, has definitely been an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Music is an excellent way to live the diversity of contemporary pluralists societies, to appreciate their cultural richness. Kabir Percussion is a superb reflection of this multi ethnic reality. Indeed, this group’s musicians are from various origins and play instruments from all over the world: Senegal, Brazil, Australia, Chile and Canada. Let yourself be swept along by this unique, authentic music, a blend of purity and interbreeding!
