Clinics

Steph has performed over 350 clinics since 2002. He is now doing clinics internationally. He recently has traveled coast to coast throughout Canada, presenting drum clinics in music stores and in Taiwan for the Taipei International Percussion Summer Camp 2008. All his product endorsements were involved… Mapex Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Vic Firth Sticks and Evans Drumheads. From Canada to Taiwan, the excitement was all about having fun with drumming! Steph always says……“My goal at each event is to inspire drummers to aspire. Teaching is very rewarding for me in so many ways…sharing what I have learned is so exciting!”

« Stephane made a special trip to Nanaimo (BC) for clinic at Island Drum, the Vancouver Island Percussion Store. His long journey was well worth it! Stephane held the attention of all the drummers for a two hour session in which he played and soloed, talked about technique and practice routines and answered many questions. He involved the drummers in the audience from start to finish and even had some of them up and playing the beautiful Mapex Saturn drum set. This was one of the best drum clinics the store has hosted. »

Steph is also really involved in school clinics. These events are designed to be fun and educational. The clinic exposes the students to professional playing while providing immediate results for their improvement. Topics are reviewed with each band director before the performance in order to customize the event for the needs and abilities of the students. Separate events are given for either the full band or percussionists only.

« After the clinic given by Mr. Stephane Chamberland, I wanted to show my gratitude. This lesson was presented with great professionalism and with great dynamics.
